What Knownly collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it — in plain language.
Effective September 12, 2026
Who we are
Knownly is a service orchestration platform for private clubs and hospitality operators, based in Atlanta, Georgia. This policy explains what we collect on knownly.ai, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Details you give us: your name, work email, phone number, club or company, and anything you type into a contact, walkthrough or inquiry form.
- Scheduling information: when you book a meeting through our scheduling provider, that provider collects the details you enter to create the booking.
- Directory opt-in data: if you opt in to a venue's guest directory, we collect the phone number you provide, the venue you associated it with, your consent record and your stated preferences.
- Connected account data: if you choose to connect a financial account through Plaid, Plaid handles your credentials and shares only the account and transaction information you authorize. Knownly never receives or stores your bank login.
- Usage data: pages viewed, referring links, campaign parameters, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, collected through analytics providers.
How we use it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use member or guest data to train third-party advertising models.
- To respond to your inquiry, schedule a conversation, and follow up about Knownly.
- To provide the service a venue has asked us to run on its behalf, including recognizing members and routing staff tasks.
- To operate, secure, debug and improve the site and the product.
- To measure which pages and campaigns bring qualified operators to us.
Messages and consent
Guest and member messages are only sent where a consent record exists. Every message is logged. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text message, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us directly, and we will honor it.
Who we share it with
Each provider is bound to use the data only to deliver its service to us. If Knownly is ever part of a merger or acquisition, we will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
- Service providers that run the platform on our behalf: hosting and database infrastructure, email and SMS delivery, scheduling, analytics, and Plaid for any account connection you authorize.
- The venue you interacted with, where you opted in to that venue's directory or service.
- Authorities or advisers where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and account records for as long as we have a working relationship or an active conversation with you, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting and security purposes. Consent and message logs are retained as a record of permission. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent for messages, or ask us to stop processing it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. We honor those requests regardless of where you live, and we will not discriminate against you for making one.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is limited to people who need it, and platform records are protected by row-level access rules. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant regulators as required.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar identifiers to keep sessions working and to understand how the site is used, through Google Analytics and Contentsquare. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work, though some measurement will be incomplete.
Children
Knownly is a business product and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, tell you directly.
