What Club Member Recognition Actually Requires

Members notice when a club remembers them, and they notice when it does not.

    Recognition is an operational outcome

Most clubs already hold the information needed to greet a member correctly: the tee sheet, the reservation book, the point-of-sale history, the membership record. What they lack is the layer that turns that information into an instruction for the person on the floor.

    The three inputs

    • Identity — who is arriving, and what the club already knows about them.
    • Presence — where they are right now, and where they are heading next.
    • Ownership — which role is responsible for the next action.

    What good looks like

A General Manager should be able to answer one question at any moment: is the right thing happening for the members on property right now?

Silence is success. When orchestration works, nobody has to ask.
